Day of the Dead
Since 1987, Mary J. Andrade has traveled to Mexico in October and November of each year to photograph and document Day of the Dead celebrations throughout the country. Her work has been collected in a series of books called Through the Eyes of the Soul, Day of the Dead in Mexico.
The images here are from that work, and others, portraying elements of the celebration throughout the country.
